Spend time getting to know the King family and their living legacy. Learn about Martin Luther King III’s journey in social activism and his pursuit of justice. Hear from Arndrea about her initiatives to leave a positive legacy and her role in raising Yolanda, Dr. King's only granddaughter. Finally, be inspired by Yolanda's vision as a young change-maker, carrying her family's legacy into the future.
KING TALKS: REALIZE THE DREAM
Learn about Realize the Dream, a national movement led by Martin Luther King III and his family to realize his father’s dream of uplifting and uniting communities through service. Launching in 2024 and going to 2029, it’s a bold call for 100 million hours of service by the 100th anniversary of Dr. King’s birth. You’ll learn their plans to engage and mobilize people from diverse backgrounds on issues directly impacting them and their communities, from a youth-service program to townhalls across America.

Tour Legacy College, an award-winning, accredited, post-secondary institution in Narok County that offers top-tier undergraduate programs in Business, Nursing and Tourism for the local community. TRAINING DAY 1: LEADING YOURSELF
The first day of this three-day, credit-earning training at Legacy College focuses on leading yourself. Alongside Kenyan learners, you’ll engage in meditation, inquiry, and reflection to clarify your values and purpose. Through these practices, you’ll explore how inner alignment shapes your decisions and actions. This day sets the stage for building the self-awareness needed to lead with integrity and impact.
THE LIFE-CHANGING IMPACT
OF BARAKA HOSPITAL
This renowned teaching hospital has welcomed 6,000 healthy babies and provides a safe space for curative and preventative healthcare, transforming the lives of Kenya's most vulnerable communities. You’ll meet the dedicated hospital team that ensures 30,000 patients every year receive top-tier care.
WEAPONS TRAINING WITH
MAASAI GUIDE
Join a Maasai guide as they share their journey to becoming a Maasai warrior. Discover their ancient traditions, try your hand at spear and conga throwing and join in a friendly competition, all while learning about the Maasai way of life.

Through powerful exercises and inquiry, you’ll sharpen your ability to inspire and empower others while staying aligned with your values. This day challenges you to lead from a place of truth, creating impact through connection and integrity.
LEAVE YOUR LEGACY LOCALLY THROUGH SERVICE
Roll up your sleeves and work alongside community members building school rooms, latrines and gardens. As you work, you’ll get to know their stories of life in the community.

Day three focuses on Living Legacy, where leadership evolves into inspiring movements and creating lasting impact. Through practices like asana, meditation, and inquiry, you’ll explore what it means to lead with purpose and serve a vision greater than yourself. This day invites you to step into your legacy by connecting deeply with your values, building community, and leading with clarity and intention. It’s a call to expand your leadership beyond personal growth, creating change that resonates and endures.
LEAVE YOUR LEGACY LOCALLY THROUGH SERVICE
Roll up your sleeves and work alongside community members building school rooms, latrines and gardens. As you work, you’ll get to know their stories of life in the community.
